  7. Welcome, Sondra, glad you took the plunge! Your poetry has refined the silences of haiku to the high art it deserves. One of the things that often bothers me about how haikunis practised in by some is that it is simple word play or syllable counting. It catches nothing of the Zen spirit of haiku. None of that in your poetry. It is a more than worthy shoot from the original bamboo. No imitation here, this is art.
